Watch: submitting a diagnosis
Swipe the screen to move between steps.
Open the form
After you check in, open the job and select Submit diagnosis. On the web it opens its own page.
In the app, the form is saved on the phone as you type, so you can leave and come back; Draft restored tells you it picked up where you left off. You can fill it in without signal, but you need a connection to submit.
What to fill in
- Diagnosis notes (required): what is wrong and what is needed to fix it. Write freely; the office polishes the wording with AI.
- Spare parts: select Add part for each one and enter the Part, Qty and Unit cost. Select Remove part to take one off.
- Estimated cost (SAR): your estimate for the job, for example 1500.00.
- Before photos: up to 8 photos of what you found. They are optional, but they help the office price the job.
Dictate instead of typing
Select Dictate notes and speak for up to 2 minutes in Arabic, English, Urdu or Bengali. The text is added to your notes in the language you spoke. Read it before you submit.
Submit
- Check the notes, parts and photos.
- Select Submit diagnosis.
- In the app, wait while the photos upload. If an upload fails, your draft is kept so you can try again.
Once submitted, the job moves to Diagnosis submitted and you cannot change the diagnosis. Call the office if something needs correcting.
What happens next
The office reviews your diagnosis, may rewrite the notes with AI, and sends the client a quotation. Technician accounts can also price the job themselves with Prepare quotation. Do not start work until the job shows Quotation approved.
Tips
- Photograph nameplates and model numbers; they save a second visit.
- Give every part its own line so the office can price it exactly.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I edit the diagnosis after submitting it?
- No. Call the office; they can correct the notes while they review them.
- Does the client see my notes?
- No. The client sees the quotation the office sends, not your diagnosis.
- Is my estimated cost the price the client pays?
- No. It guides the office. The price is in the quotation the client approves.
