Watch: signing off the work

Step 1 of 4
When you can sign off
You are notified with Work completed when the report reaches you, and the ticket shows Completion report submitted. While the status is Completion under review, the office is still checking the report.
Review the work
- Open the ticket and select Review & sign off. On the web the ticket is also under Needs your attention on your dashboard; in the app the button is in the bar at the bottom of the ticket.
- Read What was done and Materials used, and compare the before and after photos.
Approve the work
- Under Your decision, type your name in Type your full name to acknowledge, or sign in Signature (optional). You need at least one of the two.
- Select Approve completion and confirm. A sign-off can't be undone.
- The ticket becomes Client approved and the rating page opens.
In the app, select Capture client signature to sign on a full-screen pad, then return to the form.
If something isn't right
Select Request revision, describe the problem under What needs revisiting?, and confirm. The ticket becomes Revision requested and the office follows up with a new quotation.
Tips
- Check the work on site before you approve; the after photos are a record, not a substitute.
- The date is recorded with your approval: approving on that date confirms the work was completed to your satisfaction.
Frequently asked questions
- Why don't I see the sign-off button?
- It appears only while the ticket is Completion report submitted. If the status is Completion under review, the office hasn't sent you the report yet.
- Do I have to draw a signature?
- No. Your typed full name is enough; the drawn signature is optional. You need at least one.
- What happens after I approve?
- The office issues the invoice. You are notified with New invoice and can pay it from Invoices.
