On a quotation
- Open the quotation and, under Your decision, select Request revision.
- Under Tell us why (required), say what should change, for example a line to remove or a different option.
- Select Request revision and confirm.
At sign-off
- Open the ticket and select Review & sign off.
- Under Your decision, select Request revision.
- Under What needs revisiting?, describe what still needs attention.
- Select Request revision and confirm. The technician sees your note.
What happens next
The ticket becomes Revision requested. The only way forward from there is a new quotation: the office sends a revised one, you review it, and the job continues once you approve.
For returned work, this means the fix goes back through quoting. The new quotation shows what, if anything, the extra work costs, so it is agreed with you before it starts.
Earlier versions
Each revised quotation is a new version. Version history on the quotation page lists every version with its status, so you can compare them.
Tips
- Be specific: name the line, the room or the symptom that is left.
- Photos help. Send them to the office with the ticket number, because you can't add files to a ticket after it is created.
Frequently asked questions
- Is asking for a revision the same as rejecting?
- No. A revision asks for a new version and keeps the job going. Rejecting says you don't want the work at this price; the office may send a new quotation or cancel the ticket.
- Why did my returned work go back to a quotation?
- From Revision requested, a ticket can only move on with a new quotation. That way any cost for the extra work is agreed with you first.
