Account approval for technicians and corporate accounts

Technician and corporate accounts take real jobs and get paid for them, so the office reviews each one before it can sign in. Client accounts don't need approval.

What Pending approval means

Right after you sign up, your account exists but is set to Pending approval. Signing in on the website or in the app shows: Your account is awaiting administrator approval.

Nothing is lost while you wait. Your details are saved, and the office is notified that a new account is waiting for review.

What the office checks

An Operations Manager or Super Admin opens your account from the notification, or from Technicians or Corporate accounts in the admin console, and reviews your details.

  • Technicians: your name, phone number and the City you work from. New technicians start as freelancers; the office sets your pay rate and employment type.
  • Corporate accounts: the company you entered at sign-up. Your login is already linked to that company, and the office confirms the company details before activating you.
  • Both: the office sets the account status to Active, which is what lets you sign in.

After you are approved

No email is sent when your account is activated. Try signing in again later; once it works, you land on your own home page.

Technicians and corporate accounts should add a payout bank account before the first job, so the office can pay you when the work is done.

For the office

Super Admins and Operations Managers get a notification for each new technician or corporate sign-up. It opens the account under Workforce or Corporate clients. A corporate account can't be activated until it is linked to its company. See Approve pending accounts for the full procedure.

Tips

  • Make sure your phone number is right when you sign up. The office uses it to contact you during the review.
  • If you are waiting longer than expected, contact the office rather than signing up again. A second sign-up with the same email doesn't create a new account.

Frequently asked questions

Will I get an email when my account is approved?
No. The sign-in page is the way to check. Once the office sets your account to Active, signing in works.
Why don't client accounts need approval?
A client only raises requests and pays for its own work, so it can start at once. Technician and corporate accounts receive jobs and payouts, so the office vets them first.
My account was suspended. Is that the same thing?
No. A suspended account was active before and has been switched off by the office. Signing in shows that the account has been suspended. Contact the office to find out why.
