Approve pending accounts

When a technician or a corporate account signs up on its own, it can't sign in until the office approves it. Approving is a status change on the account.

Step 1 of 3

Find the waiting accounts

You're notified when an account is waiting. On the web, the dashboard banner Accounts awaiting approval links to Technicians or Corporate accounts filtered to Pending approval. In the mobile app, the same queue appears under Needs attention on Home.

Approve an account

  1. Open the account.
  2. Check the details, and set the City if it's missing.
  3. For a corporate account, link it to its company first: select Link company and choose the client company.
  4. Set the Account status to Active and confirm.

A corporate account can't be activated until it's linked to its company.

Rejecting an account

There is no Reject button. To refuse a sign-up, set the status to Suspended. The person can't sign in.

Let them know

Approval sends no email. Call or message the person to tell them they can sign in now.

Tips

  • Set a pay rate when you approve a technician, so their first job creates a payout. This needs the Super Admin by default.
  • Check the phone number before approving. WhatsApp job alerts go to it.
