Language on the website
Use the language switch in the top bar to choose English or العربية. The page reloads in that language at the same place. The address shows /en or /ar, so you can bookmark either.
Appearance on the website
Use the Appearance control in the top bar to choose Light or Dark. On a narrow screen it is a small menu instead of a two-way switch.
From the command palette
Press Ctrl+K (⌘K on a Mac) and type language or appearance. Choose Switch to العربية, Switch to English, or one of the Appearance actions.
In the app
Open More, then Settings. Under Preferences, set Language to English or Arabic and Appearance to System, Light or Dark. System follows your phone's own setting.
Arabic mirrors the whole app right-to-left. If the app shows Restart needed, close it and reopen it to finish the change.
Which language emails and notifications use
Switching language changes what you see on screen only. Emails, push messages and notification text use your account's language, which is set when the account is created. To change your account language, ask the office.
Tips
- Amounts, phone numbers and references stay in Western digits in both languages, so they read the same everywhere.
- Each device and browser remembers its own language and appearance.
Frequently asked questions
- I switched to Arabic but my emails are still in English. Why?
- Emails follow your account language, not the language on your screen. Ask the office to change your account language.
- Is there a system setting on the website?
- The website offers Light and Dark. The app also offers System, which follows your phone.
