Open a job
In the app, tap the job in the Jobs tab or on the Home card. On the web, open My jobs and select the job's card.
What the job shows
- The client company, the contact's name and phone. In the app, select Call client to ring them.
- The site address. Select Open in Maps for directions to the client's map pin, or to the address when there is no pin.
- The client's preferred visit time, if they gave one, and the date your visit is scheduled for.
- The problem as the client described it, with the system type and service category.
- Your check-in time and coordinates once you have checked in, and your diagnosis once you have submitted it.
- The activity timeline, with every step the job has been through.
If the office skipped the site visit
Sometimes the office decides a visit is not needed. You are notified, and the job shows The office skipped the site visit — submit your diagnosis remotely. Go straight to Submit diagnosis; there is no check-in.
Tips
- Check the preferred visit time before you book the visit, so the client is there when you arrive.
- Read the timeline before you call the office; it often answers what happened last.
Frequently asked questions
- Why don't I see a Start work button?
- Work can start only after the client approves the quotation. Until then the job waits on the office or the client.
- Can I change the address or contact on a job?
- No. Only the office can edit a job. Call them if a detail is wrong.
- Why is a job I finished still in my list?
- Your part is done, but the job stays visible under Completed so you can look back at it.
