Watch: running a report
Swipe the screen to move between steps.
Where to find it
Accountants open Reports under Finance in the accounting console. Super Admins and operations managers open Reports under Finance in the admin console. The page and the figures are the same.
In the app, accountants open the Reports tab, and office staff find Reports under More.
Choose a period
Set From and To at the top. Both tabs and every export use that period. Select Clear to return to the default: the last six months up to today.
Profit & Loss
A chart and a table show each month's Revenue, Freelancer cost, Discounts and Margin, with a Total row. Margin is revenue minus freelancer cost and discounts.
Export it with CSV, Excel or PDF.
Summary
Four totals for the period, Issued, Collected, Outstanding and Freelancer payouts, each with its count. Below them are revenue by category and top clients.
If internal team tickets were settled in the period, a line shows that amount separately; it is not counted as revenue. Export the summary with CSV or Excel.
In the app
The Reports screen has four views: Revenue & collections, Summary, Profit & Loss and Sales performance. They cover the last six months. The app offers the Profit & Loss as a PDF only; CSV and Excel are on the web.
Tips
- Run a month's report after every bank payment for that month is recorded, so Collected is complete.
- Every export is recorded in the audit log, so share exported files with care.
Frequently asked questions
- Why is the margin higher than our real profit?
- Freelancer cost counts technician payouts only. Other company costs are not in the portal.
- Can I export the summary as a PDF?
- No. The summary exports as CSV or Excel. Only the Profit & Loss has a PDF.
- Why don't I see Reconciliation next to Reports?
- Reconciliation is only in the accounting console. Super Admins and operations managers have Reports without it.
