Schedule or skip the site visit

After assigning, the next stage is the site visit. You can book the date for the technician, or skip the visit when it isn't needed.

Step 1 of 3

Schedule a visit

The ticket moves to Site visit scheduled. The technician can also schedule the visit from their own app.

  1. Open a ticket at Assigned on the web.
  2. Select Schedule site visit.
  3. Pick the Visit date. If the client gave a preferred time, it is shown under the field.
  4. Select Confirm.

Skip the visit

Skip the visit when the fault is clear without one, for example a repeat fault with good photos. Select Skip site visit and confirm: Skip the site visit for this ticket? The technician will submit the diagnosis remotely.

The ticket moves straight to On-site (checked in) without a GPS check-in, and the technician is notified to submit the diagnosis.

Skipping is possible only while the ticket is Assigned or Site visit scheduled, and only once.

Who can do this

Super Admins and Operations Managers. If you don't see the button, your role or the ticket's stage doesn't allow it.

Web only for office staff

Scheduling and skipping by office staff is done on the web. In the mobile app, the technician schedules from the job.

Tips

  • Match the client's preferred time where you can. It is shown right under the date field.
  • Skip only when the photos and complaint really are enough. The technician cannot check in on site afterwards.
